Artwork: Closer EP

Inspired by Jars of Clay’s Closer EP cover I chose to paint it in my art class with oil painting (some little brushes were used) because I can relate to a lot of the lyrics on the EP and furthermore, on “The Long fall Back to Earth” album which features some of the same songs (Closer, Safe to Land) and speaks about relationships and how hard it is to maintain them. So this was cause of inspiration and that is why I’m proud of the final product! It took several days because I had to repaint and refine some little touches but I’m glad is done!

btw that’s the best heart I have ever done by hand in my life…
